Quality

Herts Urgent Care is committed to providing high quality, patient-focused healthcare. We pride ourselves on ensuring that all patients receive the best possible care, from the most suitable clinician, within a reasonable time period.

Required Standards

Herts Urgent Care is expected to meet the following national standards:

These standards set out the quality of service we must provide with regards to:

  • Waiting times
  • Accessibility of our service (telephone and centres)
  • GP’s performance
  • Patient satisfaction
  • Our ability to manage demand for our service
  • Safety
  • Communication between Herts Urgent Care and local GP surgeries

Our performance against the National standards is monitored by the PCTs, and we are held to account at regular meetings about our service.

Gathering Feedback

Herts Urgent Care regularly sends out patient experience questionnaires to people who have used our service. We take all comments very seriously and use these as an opportunity to look for ways to improve.
